Chrissy is Nutella lovin’, reality t.v. watchin’ chic who lives with her husband of 9 years and has two sweet dogs. She loves to read, shop, craft, cook and catch up on celebrity gossip. Alicia is a min-van drivin’ stay-at-home mother of two adorable children, married to her husband of almost 13 years. She loves to read, photograph her family’s life, cook, craft, crochet and walk her dog.
Chrissy and Alicia have been friends since they were 5 years old. They grew up across the street from each other and have shared almost every childhood and adult life experience you can together. Although they don’t live across the street from each other any longer, and in fact are separated by several states, they still manage to live their lives as if they are on their front porch together, reflecting on the day gone by. They are Best Friends who laugh together, cry together and frankly, couldn’t imagine life without each other!
If you would like a little more background on our Blog, our friendship and how we met, then you should read our 1st blog entry: “Once Upon a Friendship.”
Another journey begins! Kudos to you both!
Thanks Paula! We are excited to start another adventure together -Chrissy
Thank you Mom! I think it will be a fabulous journey! Love, Alicia

What a wonderful idea. It is so nice to see such a great friendship. My best friend and I are the same but we live so far apart that it is really difficult to not have each other close, in distance anyway. Good luck with your blog!!
p.s. Nutella is the bees knees!
Krystal Rose: Thank you! We are truly blessed in our friendship. Thank you for the well wishes on the blog. We are learning as we go and just trying to have fun with it! It sounds like you understand exactly what our friendship is like since you have a long-distance BFF too. It is definitely hard at times, but if you work at it you can make it seem like they are still living in town. Also glad to find another Nutella addict like ourselves.
Thanks for the comments, the follows and your support!
You have always been a lot more like sisters than neighbors. The fact that you remain so close, while being so far away is testament to your friendship. We should all be so luck as to have a true friend for life. God Bless.
We are having so much fun with this blog-venture of ours. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to check out our site and send us a comment, Todd! You managed to make both of our days today.
~Chrissy
@Todd – Wow, thank you! We’ve had some minor challenges living far away from each other, but have managed to stay as close as friends can be despite the distance. We really appreciate your kind words of support and encouragement! Seeing as how much time we spent around you and the gang in our college years, I’d say you have a pretty good feel as to how close we are. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to read our Blog and lend your support! All our best to you and your family!
